On behalf of the 140+ participants from Voyager RV Resort, we wish to express our sincere appreciation for the excellent services you have provided for each of our three trips to visit Mata Ortiz, Paquime and the beautiful Mexican countryside. You have excelled in providing fine meals and accommodations as well as educating each of us on the culture and beauty of the area. We are looking forward to three visits this next year, including two trips to the Copper Canyon as well as Mata Ortiz and Paquime.Jim and Betty Klosterman
Thank you for providing such an excellent trip. You are so willing to provide all of our needs and wants. We all felt very comfortable under your guidance and we felt we all saw and experienced more with you than we would have with someone else.
I’m writing to say what an enjoyable, informative and delightful trip I had recently with John Hatch as a guide. My two friends and I – all “mature” women who have traveled extensively – were very impressed with John’s knowledge of and contacts in and around Casas Grandes and Mata Ortiz. Is there anyone in the area with whom John isn’t acquainted? In addition, John is so completely steeped in the local vernacular and culture that any questions we had about language or local customs were readily addressed.
John took great care to set up a three-day trip that covered all of our areas of interest: local culture, pottery, history and nature. From seeking out some of the best Mata Ortiz potters to exploring local ruins to visiting important birding areas, John ensured that the trip was customized to our wish-list of things to see and do. John never hesitated to stop for photo or to check out a bird that one of us happened to see hiding along the roadside. I would gladly take another trip with John as our guide – Copper Canyon, anyone?
